Past Presidents




	Mohd Talhar Abdul Rahman, FRICS, FISM, MPEPS
	Sr. Mohd Talhar was one of the founding members of PEPS. He was the First President and served from 1984-1986 and from 1986-1988. Sr. Mohd Talhar was also the Founder of CH Williams, Talhar & Wong Sdn Bhd and continued to serve as its Chairman.

	Dr. Aloysius B Marbeck, JSM, KMN, AEABM, AEANM, LLD (Hons), FRICS, FISM, MMIM, MPEPS
	Sr. Dr. Marbeck was the President for the term 1988-1990 and was also President of the Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM) for the term 1977-1978. He was the Deputy Director-General of Jabatan Penilaian dan Perkhidmatan Harta (JPPH) and was a Director of CH Williams, Talhar & Wong Sdn Bhd and later, of Rahim & Co. Chartered Surveyors Sdn Bhd. He has now retired from active service.

	YB Senator Dato’ Abdul Rahim Rahman, DIMP, DMSM, DPTJ, FRICS, FISM, MPEPS
	Dato’ Sr. Abdul Rahim was the President for the terms 1990-1992 and 1992-1994. He was also President of the Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM) for the term 1986-1987. Dato’ Sr. Abdul Rahim is the Managing Director of Rahim & Co. Chartered Surveyors Sdn Bhd.

	John S C Loh, KMN, SSA, PJK, MSc, MBA, FRICS, FISM, FIREC, MPEPS
	Sr. John Loh was the Founder Secretary of PEPS and was President for the term 1994-1996. He was also the President of Pacific Rim Real Estate Society for the term 2000-2001 and President of the Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM) for the term 2004-2005. Sr. John Loh was formerly the Managing Director of CH Williams, Talhar & Wong Sdn Bhd and is now the Principal of John Loh & Associates.

	Jordan Lee, KMN, FISM, FRICS, IRRV, MSISV, SCV, MPEPS
	The late Jordan Lee was the President for the term 1996-1998. He was the Chairman of Colliers, Jordan, Lee & Jaafar Sdn Bhd and the Chief Valuer in Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

	Kamaruzaman bin Jamil, BSc (Hon), FRICS, FISM, MPEPS
	Sr. Kamaruzaman was the President for the term 1998-2000. He is the Principal Partner of W.M. Malik & Kamaruzaman and a member of the Board of Valuers, Appraisers & Estate Agents Malaysia.

	Elvin Fernandez, FISM, FRICS, M.M.I, Arbs, MCIArb, MPEPS
	Sr. Fernandez was the President for the term 2000-2002. He is the Managing Director of Khong & Jaafar Sdn Bhd. He is the immediate Past President of the International Valuation Standards Committee and a former Member of the Board of Valuers, Appraisers & Estate Agents Malaysia, the regulatory authority of the valuation profession in Malaysia and its Executive for 14 years from 1993-2007.

	P. Tangga Peragasam, FISM, FRICS, MPEPS
	Sr. Peragasam was the President for the terms 2002-2004 and 2004-2006. He is the Managing Director of Colliers, Jordan Lee & Jaafar Sdn Bhd.

	James Wong Kwong Onn, BA (Hons), FISM, MPEPS
	Sr. James Wong is the Immediate Past President and has served for 2 terms, i.e. from 2006-2008 and 2008-2010. He is the Managing Director of VPC Alliance (KL) Sdn Bhd and the current Regional Chairman of VPC Asia Pacific Ltd.
